I met Zebaal of the Word Bearers on my way to the bridge
"Bardax" he called me, I didn't answer. We walked in silence. He was our leader, as much as anyone could be. He had been in this ship the longest, saw many come and go before I ever got here. Some of us stopped coming back eventually, I still hadn't figured out what caused it. Most of us tried venturing away, but eventually we came back after our next death.
I had challenged him for the position once, as had Dearg and Gharke. The latter still tried every now and then. He always beat us soundly, even the Berserker.
I approve of him. Unlike his fellow Word Bearer Tor Kahl, he isn't lost in zealotry. He believes the Chaos Gods are the reason for our "situation", but does not worship them for it. He just cares about our next target...
